Bikers Donate Bikes – Southern Standard

Biker Bikes is the theme of this holiday season for Silent Creed members. The biker group will spread the holiday cheer by donating bikes to children whose families may need help.

“We just want the kids to have a good Christmas and parents don’t have to worry,” said Silent Creed member Chuck Anderson.

Club president Darrin Turner, along with many other band members who have worked in this seasonal effort for several years, realize that there may be more demand than supply. With that in mind, they decided to proceed with a simple drawing style gift. For anyone interested in participating in this effort, please call the clubhouse at 931-507-SCMC. Donations of new bikes are welcome.

“This effort means a lot to us,” Turner said. “We are also involved in the toy race. This season for us is all about children and we want to do everything we can to help as much as we can. “

For anyone wishing to participate in the raffle, there are tickets outside the Silent Creed Clubhouse at 414 Beersheba Street. Fill in the name, age, gender and phone number information.

December 20 is the last day to enter your child’s name and the prize draw will take place on the same day at 4:30 p.m. The draw will be streamed live on Facebook from the group’s page, Silent Creed MC Tennessee (support page).

“We’ll keep drawing names as long as we have bikes to donate,” Turner said. For the winners, the bikes will be picked up at the Silent Creed Clubhouse on December 22 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Kerry Jordan of Silent Creed said, “This is the best time of the year and I love having the opportunity to do it and give back to the community.”
