Clubhouse crosses 20 lakhs of downloads on Google Play Store since launching on Android two weeks ago – Technology News, Firstpost


Initially available for iOS users only, the Club house The app was rolled out to Android users just two weeks ago. During this short period, the application has already crossed the 20 lakh download mark on Google play store. The company broke the news on Twitter, revealing that it had recorded 1 million downloads in the first week of the app’s launch on Google play store.

Similar to iOS users, on Club house, Android users also need an invite link to join the app. Users can also sign up and wait on the waiting list where existing users can invite them to join the app.

Once you’ve entered, you’ll need to select a group or chat rooms on the topics that interest you. In particular, the application has three types of rooms for its users. “Open” chat rooms are where anyone can join without any permission. “Social” chat rooms are reserved for user subscribers and “Closed” chat rooms are reserved for guests.
