Playing classic country and rock hits, the Randy Anderson Band is a Las Vegas staple heading to Pahrump! Opening for major bands and names over the years, and performing for charities around the world, Anderson’s voice has been heard across the globe. RAB plays the best of new and traditional country music, as well as oldies and classic rock. This award-winning 5-piece band was once voted “Best of Las Vegas” in the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s reader poll.

The performance will be hosted by Carol and Dan Wertsbaugh, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pahrump Valley Museum, 401 E. Basin Ave. All proceeds will go to benefit a veteran with myalgic encephalomye, a neurological disorder that has completely left her. unable to take care of herself. Support one of our local veterans and get a unique piece of art created by Carol. Please stop by the museum and support this wonderful lady!

Rockin’ and roastin’ in Mountain Springs

The pork roast is back. No cover charge. BBQ meal service begins at 11:00 a.m. Delicious food, ice cold beer, raffles and live music provided by Sumptn’ Else. This band plays a variety of covers from the 60s to current songs. The show starts at noon and lasts until 4 p.m. Seating inside and outside. $16 for a plate, a drink and a raffle ticket. $26 for a plate, 3 drinks and 3 raffle tickets. Pahrump Community Pool temporarily closes August 27

Open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Adult Swim: (7 a.m. to 10 a.m.) open to anyone 18 or older, seven days a week.

Open Swim: (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) open to all with certain areas sometimes restricted to use. Non-swimmers and children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult.

Paddling Pool: A paddling pool is available for children under 6 and their accompanying parent or guardian. Non-swimmers and children under 9 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian over 18. The parent/guardian must be in the water within arm’s reach of each child.

Annual Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser

The Knights of Columbus will host their annual spaghetti dinner on Saturday, September 17, from 4 to 7 p.m.
