Sevenoaks Town FC has obtained a building permit for a new clubhouse.

Sevenoaks Town has obtained planning permission for a new clubhouse, covered stands, changing rooms and associated landscaping work at Greatness Park.

Plans for the future will allow the Oaks to improve the gaming experience for those who currently enjoy the game at Greatness Park, and mean the club can explore new opportunities to offer even more to those in the community.

Club President Paul Lansdale said: “After a lot of hard work and effort, I am delighted that everyone connected with the football club is revealing this brilliant news.

“Greatness Park welcomes hundreds of participants and visitors every week and our new clubhouse will be a catalyst for us to grow further as a club and to take advantage of what we offer to our players, coaches, parents, volunteers. and local community.

“We couldn’t have gone this far without the help and support of so many people and now we can look forward to making our plans a reality, which is incredibly exciting. “

“We look forward to working closely with our owners and our key stakeholders and partners.

“The future is looking incredibly bright, especially after two very difficult seasons and we are all excited to move forward and make Greatness Park even bigger.”

Councilor Peter Fleming added: “Sevenoaks Town FC is truly one of the city’s sporting giants, but it’s the scale of the club, its unwavering commitment to the community and access to football for all. which sometimes goes under the radar, these incredible facilities will allow this exceptional work to continue for many generations to come. “

“The past 18 months have been so difficult for sports clubs, but the dedication of Paul and his team has been remarkable throughout.
