The Westin Mission Hills changes name to The Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa – Hospitality Net

Following a multi-million dollar renovation, The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa has officially changed its name to The Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa. When the resort was built in 1987, the Coachella Valley’s tourist powerhouse was Palm Springs, which is why the hotel wasn’t originally named for its Rancho Mirage location. Since the resort’s inception, Rancho Mirage has flourished as a tourist destination in its own right. As the hotel prepares to complete its $15 million property-wide renovation, they felt the time was right for a name change to reflect the destination the resort calls home, Rancho Mirage.

With this transformation, The Westin is creating a whole new tranquil atmosphere on the property, weaving wellness throughout the resort experience. The resort’s new Spa and Wellness Manager is integrating wellness through unique in-room spa offerings, healthy restaurant menu options, new treatments, and integrating wellness activities and classes into complex programming. The Westin has always aligned with a cutting-edge wellness brand, focused on the pillars of Sleep Well, Move Well, Eat Well, Play Well and Work Well, and with this renovation they are extending it beyond the single hot tub.
