Santa Ana Pueblo- The Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa is no stranger to top destination and resort awards.

The luxury resort — on 550 acres in the Pueblo de Santa Ana between Albuquerque and Santa Fe — was named one of the “15 Best Resort Hotels in the West” in Travel + Leisure The best prices in the world 2022.

The awards recognize the best of the best in the travel industry, from cities and hotels to cruise lines and airports, according to a press release announcing the award.

The complex is home to the Tamaya Stables where travelers can embark on horseback rides that explore the banks of the Rio Grande, the Bosque poplar forest, and cultural sites including ancient petroglyphs. Tamaya Stables also offers volunteer vacation opportunities with the Tamaya Horse Rehabilitation Program, a non-profit organization designed to provide shelter and care for unwanted and neglected horses in New Mexico.
