TRAFFIC ALERTS: Here’s what SDOT did today:
-16th/Cambridge, working on updating curb bulbs and curb railings.8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
-Olson/Roxbury, cleaning of parking strips and medians at 6:04 a.m., planning to “start on Olson Place SW where we will close a single eastbound lane and continue to SW Roxbury St, where we will close a single eastbound lane west”.
-21/Genesee, grinding the pavement to prepare the street mural.

PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT: From 8 a.m. and all day, spectators are welcome but the places to play are filled for the second annual edition West Seattle Pickleball Classic at Walt Hundley Playground (34th & Myrtle).

FOOD COLLECTION: Donate non-perishable food to Admiral’s Church (4320 SW Hill) today, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

WEST SEATTLE FARMERS MARKET: 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., the market is open with peak summer produce as well as flowers, cheese, fish, meat, pastries, condiments, prepared meals, etc., California SW between Oregon and Alaska.

LINCOLN PARK POOL: With sunny and warm weather forecast, the wading pool will be open in the upper center Lincoln Park (8011 Fauntleroy Way SW), noon to 7 p.m.

COLMAN POOL: The outdoor swimming pool Lincoln Park shore (8011 Fauntleroy Way SW) is open to the public again, from noon to 7 p.m.

WOODEN HOUSE MUSEUM: The Seattle Southwest Historical Society museum on Alki, and you can visit noon-4pm, (61st/Stevens)

NO VISIT TO ALKI POINT LIGHTHOUSE TODAY: This week’s visits are canceled because US Coast Guard Auxiliary volunteers are busy supporting Sea fair.

‘HERE THERE ARE DRAGONS’: 3 p.m. in the morning at ArtsWest (4711 California SW; WSB sponsor) for the solo musical. Tickets here.

BLUE ANGELS: A last performance, again scheduled shortly after 3 p.m. Here’s our Saturday story, with today’s air show schedule.
